Year 10 students at St Mary's College have the opportunity to select from a range of courses of study traditionally only available to Year 11 and 12 students.
There are now clear indications that students in their senior years of schooling achieve better outcomes with a preparatory year in Year 10. As students complete Year 9 and move to Year 10 this is an important step in their secondary school education. This is a time that students must make important decisions about their future. At St Mary's College all Year 9 and Year 10 students will be interviewed regarding their course selection and counselled appropriately.
Students are encouraged to engage in the learning process and to make the most of each and every opportunity for success.
An Upper School Course Information and Selection Handbook is available to all new and existing students.
