Strategic Plan
St Mary’s College will play a lead role in the future of the Kimberley by creating a learning community where people of different cultures work together to enable all students to achieve their full potential. Together, as a whole school community, we can achieve great things.
We will continue to be distinguished by the way we live and promote social justice, reconciliation and all Christian values; our culture of achievement; and our safe, caring community.
Our students will be recognised as Christ-like in their generosity, good manners and sense of personal direction. They will know and develop their gifts and talents, reach out to help others, and contribute to the wider community. They will be the leaders of the future.
The special experience of being in Broome and the area’s distinctive history, culture and natural environment will continue to be an integral part of our teaching and learning.
Broome and Kimberley families will recognise that the unique characteristics of St Mary’s provide opportunities for education and personal growth equal to anywhere in Western Australia.
Our dynamic and innovative multicultural college will be a model of reconciliation, hope and achievement for other schools, Broome, the Kimberley and the wider community. We will show the way.
